Southeastern WI Arts Guild is very pleased to introduce our latest member - MISSY KRUEGER! CAUTION! Listening to MISSY KRUEGER'S original recordings may cause Rock/Country-Rock fans to turn the volume up to 11. This may cause head-banging, ringing ears and/or total listening satisfaction!
Missy Krueger is a music artist on a journey. This full-time working mother of two is currently in the studio recording her third solo CD - slated for release in 2013. Two singles are currently released including RIVER OF LOVE and THE REASON, both co-written with Don Kirkpatrick. RIVER OF LOVE debuted on Wisconsin’s number one rock station, 105.7 WAPL, in December 2012, and is
continuing to get airplay. THE REASON was debuted on Valentine’s Day 2013 on the same number one station. Fans of rock (Melissa Etheridge), country-rock (Sheryl Crow) and adult contemporary will have no difficult time playing the upcoming CD
on REPEAT. Missy’s powerhouse vocals have the grit and integrity of a seasoned performer who took life head-on and lived to tell about it.
Missy Krueger currently lives near Green Bay, Wisconsin with access to the vibrant Fox Valley music scene. Life in the quieter
communities of northeastern Wisconsin has allowed Missy to focus more on her children and on writing songs that reflect this stage of her life. Missy pours her heart and soul into songwriting and performing – inspired by the many talented and caring musicians, managers and producers along the way.
As a singer-songwriter in L.A., Missy was signed with Kenny Ostin and worked alongside music industry greats including
Michael Jay (Grammy Winner, Album Of The Year, 1997), Lee Hazlewood (Nancy Sinatra), Roy Bittan (Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band), Don Kirkpatrick (Rod Stewart, Richard Marx), Will Ray (The Hellecasters), and many more.
Missy performed in the L.A. bands Sister Strange and 12 Angry Men. In Wisconsin, Missy has performed with Sonic Circus, Angel Landing (Milwaukee, WI), Pumpin' Ethyl, Earth Shattering KaBoom, and more. Missy Krueger’s releases include HOUSE ON THE MOON (1997) and INCOMPREHENSIBLE (2005), both produced by Dave Polich. HOUSE ON THE MOON featured Bob Webb (James Gang) on guitar.
